People submitting listings must tell us how they are going green and then we do an investigation of their website and business. Some of the green practices that we are looking for are:

• How earth-friendly their products or services are:
  • Are they using recycled materials?
  • Are they using bio-degradable materials?
  • Etc.
• How their business is saving power:
  • Are they using solar power?
  • Are they using energy-saving light bulbs or machinery?
  • Etc.
• How their website is saving power:
  
  • Is they using a "green" web host?
